A dove is a symbol of peace for some religions, in Christianity, a white dove holding an olive leaf in its beak appeared in the story of Noah’s Ark. This Origami Dove could also be a parrot or other bird. They would look pretty if you made a few of them for a wall display. A small one could be included on a baby mobile or hung as a statement piece on its own. If you like origami animals, why not try to start a menagerie with an easy origami swan or an elephant?
Materials Needed
1 sheet of square paperFor the tutorial, we used thin paper that was 20 x 20 cm. With the same color on both sides. If your paper has a white side, you will not see the white color on the finished model.
